Dr. Jay Arvindbhai Bhatt

Dr. Jay Arvindbhai Bhatt is Consultant & Director at Aarya Gastro and Cancer Clinic in Jamnagar, and Visiting Consultant at Gokul Newtech Hospital in the same city. Specialising in Gastroenterology and Cancer, Dr. Bhatt has a postgraduate MD degree in Medicine and is also a Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in Gastroenterology. He completed his DNB training at PD Hinduja National Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai (2005-2008).

In the past, Dr. Bhatt has been associated with the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute (Ahmedabad) as Visiting Consultant, Shalby Hospitals (Ahmedabad), and Hinduja Hospital (Mumbai) as Associate Consultant. Earlier, he worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the MP Shah Medical College in Jamnagar from 2003 to 2005. Post-DNB he was appointed as Senior Registrar in the Department of Gastroenterology at KEM Hospital/Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai, from February to August 2009. He returned to the PD Hinduja Hospital as Associate Consultant in the Department of Gastroenterology until February 2010. His other professional stints include working as a study coordinator for a multi-national study on Abatacept in moderate to severe inflammatory bowel disease, and as an observer with hands-on training in advanced endoscopy at the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute in Ahmedabad from January to April 2011.
